I remember having these when i was a child and smelling them in the oven. It brings back all the memories of baking with my mum when i was little.
1 teaspoon Baking powder
75g Castor sugar
Pre heat oven to 200’c. Sift flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Rub in butter until it forms breadcrumbs. Stir in sultanas and sugar. Add eggs and stir until it forms a stiff dough.
Place walnut sized balls onto a greased tray, leaving space for spreading. Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown. Cool before eating.
