My husband is a ribs fanatic! He uses his smoker most the time to cook them but they are just as good done in the bbq. We like to mix and match our flavorings but this one was a winner. As long as you have sugar for sweetness, paprika from smokiness, some heat from some spices and a bitterness from vinegar you will pretty much have a successful baste. Ingredients:
3 Rack Pork Ribs Marinade 2 Garlic Cloves 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar 1/4 cup Golden Syrup 1 Tablespoon White wine vinegar 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 2 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce Method: Combine all the marinade ingredients together. Place ribs in a large glass dish. Pour over marinade. Cover and put in the fridge overnight (if possible otherwise for as long as you can). Preheat the webber or bbq to high. Drain ribs, reserving marinade. Place ribs in a large disposable foil tray and cook, using indirect heat for one hour or until browned and cooked through. baste with the reserved marinate every 15mins. Keep wrapped in tin foil to keep warm once cooked.
